Hello, I’m Jen.

As owner and designer at Jen Gunderson Design, I bring creativity and technical expertise to projects across the design spectrum. I help my clients share ideas effectively through thoughtful and well-informed design.

  • LOGO & BRANDING

    I favor a clean approach to logo design that is simple, intentional, balanced, and free of clutter. I develop brand systems that include coordinated color palettes, typography, and graphic styles, ensuring ease of use across all materials.

  • PUBLICATION

    I create long-form printed materials that are visually engaging and easy to navigate, using thoughtful typography, effective spacing, and a clear hierarchy of elements.

  • BOOK

    I collaborate with authors and publishers to design book covers and interiors across various genres, from fiction and poetry to scientific field guides and art books.

  • ILLUSTRATION

    I design vector illustrations, ranging from simple to complex, including scientific figures and graphs, infographics, maps, patterns, and icons.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL

    I explore both indoor and outdoor spaces to effectively convey information that is both legible and engaging. My environmental design services can include interpretive panels, museum exhibit graphics, and signage.

  • POLITICAL CAMPAIGN

    I develop design packages for political candidates that feature a logo, color palette, and typography that reflect the candidate's values while resonating with the target audience. Additionally, I create signage, flyers, mailers, and social media graphics, tailored for campaigns.
